J-HILLS. Elevated Perspectives. A New Point on the Map of Bali
J-HILLS is a new premium residence on the island of Bali.
A project created for those who value not form but inner state: calm, perspective, confidence.
Our task at Brandson TSN was to develop an international brand embedded in the cultural code of Bali and distinct from the standard offerings on the market. A brand in which every element – from naming to the visual system – works towards long-term trust and emotional involvement.
Bali is one of the most dynamically growing markets in the international real estate segment. Demand is rising – from tourists as well as from expats and investors. At the same time, competition is growing, and the requirements for the product and its presentation are becoming more stringent.
Brandson TSN’s task was to create an international brand for a new premium residence on the island. A brand that would be precisely embedded in the cultural code of Bali, stand apart from standard offerings and inspire trust among a global audience.
“With J-HILLS it was important for us to create a brand not about outward luxury but about a person’s inner state. A brand that becomes an extension of a choice – calm, conscious, free.” — Ksenia Filippova, Brand Director at Brandson TSN
We conducted a market audit, studied local and international projects, drew up a competitor map and segmented the target groups.
The key insight: what works in Bali is not simply emotional brands, but those embedded in the local context. Successful projects appeal not to the outward picture but to a person’s inner state – the search for balance, peace, a point of reset.
This is a market where meaning is valued over form. That is why the J-HILLS brand needed not outward tinsel but clear positioning and a cultural code of its own.
Our task was to create the image of a new landmark in Bali. To create a sparkling, star-like point on the map, attracting every interested resident and investor dreaming of discovering a world of wide-open opportunities.
We were creating a kind of “starting point” in the story of people enchanted by the spirit and culture of Bali. The project itself combines conceptual architecture with exceptional views and a high level of service. J-HILLS opens up a magnificent view of all the island’s main landmarks and, figuratively, “opens up” a view of new, elevated perspectives for residents and interested investors.
Hence the main concept of J-HILLS – elevated perspectives for those inspired by Bali.
In the proposed identity we sought to reflect the traditional duality of Bali: the interweaving of the spiritual and the material, nature and luxury, tranquillity and energy. A reinterpretation of the island’s main points of attraction formed the basis of our corporate identity.
“We built the J-HILLS brand the same way the architecture of a space is built: relying on genuine meanings rather than outward decoration. Every decision had to work towards a sense of confidence and perspective.” — Ksenia Filippova, Brand Director at Brandson TSN
We created a brand that unites two vectors: elite hedonism and cultural depth.
The brand already had the name J-HILLS: short, rhythmic, sonorous. It was important to emphasise its concept.
The descriptor – Celestials residence: a space for those who seek not volume but meaning.
The logo – a double “J”, symbolising both a gateway to a journey and the stylised tusks of an elephant – a reference to the god Ganesha, patron of wisdom and new beginnings.
The corporate identity – a minimalist palette: shades of ivory and grey stone. The colours of silence, prosperity and confidence.
The visual system is built so that the brand can be easily adapted across touchpoints: from digital to interior solutions.
The J-HILLS brand received:
— a clear identity embedded in the cultural context of the island,
— a visual and verbal language that sets it apart from competitors,
— a foundation for long-term communication with different types of investors.
J-HILLS is not just an address. It is a point of meaning on the map. For those who are inspired by Bali and ready for the next step.
